St Mary's Uniform
All of our uniform items can be purchased from the usual sources (including supermarkets). You do not need to buy branded uniform or uniform with the school badge. These are optional. If you need help with the costs of uniform please contact the office and we will be able to help.
Please read this uniform list carefully
- All items of school uniform must be clearly marked with your child's name.
- Jewellery is not permitted at any time - watches can be worn.
- Earrings are not allowed at anytime.
- Haircuts* – shaven letters, names or designs are not allowed.
- Boys’ hair should be of regular length (no longer than the collar) and must not be shaved at the sides and long on the top.
- Coloured hair, braiding and extensions and hair gel are not allowed.
- Hair bands must be green and plain.
- Long hair must be tied back whilst in school.
- The school logo is optional on ALL uniform items.
Early Years Uniform (this is a separate uniform from the rest of the school and no PE kit is needed)
Winter (October Half Term to the start of Summer Term)
- Green polo (with optional school logo)
- Joggers or leggings (black)
- Green Sweatshirts (optional with optional logo)
- Black or white trainers – no Laces please.
- Coloured waterproof coat
- Winter hat in green with school logo
Summer (Summer Term to October Half Term)
- Green polo (with optional school logo)
- Black shorts
- Black trainers – no laces please.
- Green Sun Hats (optional school logo)
You child will also need a Book Bag (optional with school logo) – no rucksacks please as these are too big.
Children in the early years do not need a P.E kit.
Year 1-6 Uniform
Winter (October Half Term to the start of Summer Term)
Girls
- White Blouse (long or short sleeves providing it is a proper school blouse)
- Bottle Green Pinafore Dress or Bottle Green Skirt or 'school type' dark grey trousers
- Plain Bottle Green Cardigan or V-necked Pullover (optional school logo)
- Plain Bottle Green Tie
- White or Bottle Green Socks (Green or Black Tights in Winter)
- Black "sensible" school type shoes
- Coloured (the brighter the better) Waterproof Coat (leather/denim or large insignia or lettering not permitted please)
- Winter hats in green (optional school logo)
Optional:
- Green “Fleece” Jacket (optional with school logo)
- Bottle Green Blazer & Badge
Boys
- White Shirt (long or short sleeves providing it is a proper school shirt)
- Dark Grey 'school type' trousers
- Plain Bottle Green V-Necked Pullover (optional school logo)
- Plain Bottle Green Tie
- Grey Socks
- Black "sensible" school type shoes
- Coloured (the brighter the better) Waterproof Coat (leather/denim or large insignia or lettering not permitted please)
- Winter hats in green (with optional school logo)
- Painting Overall - either shop bought or anything suitable (eg large shirt) that "protects" own clothing.
- Book Bag (optional with school logo)
Summer (Summer Term to October Half Term)

- Green and White Vertical Striped School Type Dress.
- Green Sun Hats (optional school logo)
Optional:
- Green “Fleece” Jacket (optional with school logo)
- Bottle Green Blazer & Badge
Boys
- White Polo Shirt with (optional school logo)

P.E. (Girls and Boys)
- Black Shorts
- Plain White Round Neck Tee-Shirt (optional with school logo)
- Plain Black or Navy Track Suit (optional for Winter)
- Black Slip-on Plimsolls for indoor P.E.
- Black or White Trainers for outdoor P.E.
- Short Plain White Socks
- Shoe/PE Bags are not needed as children wear their kit into school on their PE days.
- Swimming hats (when it's their turn to swim)
