At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School we recognise our role in providing the upmost support and setting high aspirations for our pupils.
We believe in positive intervention, removing barriers to learning, raising expectations and levels of achievement and working in partnership with governors, parents and the local community to provide a positive educational experience for all our pupils, including those with a special educational need or disability.
We recognise that there are children who may need extra support – whether that is learning, behavioural, emotional, physical or sensory impairment at some time in their school lives.
We endeavour to identify that need and provide the necessary support for the children and their parents, offering an inclusive, stable and caring environment in which the children’s individual skills and abilities are recognised and developed.
