The London Marathon - Great Ormond Street Hospital
Mr Lawlor is running the London Marathon to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital after his daughter Ada received life-changing care there following an epilepsy diagnosis and brain surgery.
Ada began having seizures at just six weeks old. After being referred to Great Ormond Street Hospital, she was diagnosed with epilepsy and later underwent brain surgery at 18 months.
Throughout every stage of Ada’s treatment, GOSH provided exceptional care, guidance, and reassurance for his whole family.
Any donations would be hugely appreciated as Mr Lawlor aims to raise as much money as possible for this incredible hospital.

School meals in Arbor
From 30th March, parents will be able to book school meals through Arbor in advance of our return to school on 13thApril.
Thank you for your support as we continue our transition to the new system.
Summer Uniform - UPDATE
When we come back next term children need to be in Summer Uniform.
The updated uniform policy is being drafted and will reflect feedback from the children, from you, from the staff and from governors. We expect the new policy to rolled out over next term and into the autumn term. In will start from after the October half term.
There are a couple of changes for the summer term. From next term the summer dress changes from green striped to green checked. Checked dresses are far more easily available and until the switch to Winter uniform checked and striped dresses can be worn.
In addition - from the start of the summer term - children can wear invisible small (flat see through) earrings in school.
More on the updated policy next term.
Lenten Penny Trail

This Lent, St Mary’s is gathering donations for the Catholic Children’s Society. Every penny raised will support their work with local and disadvantaged children and families.
Each class will gather their donations in their penny jars, which will be in their classes over the next few weeks.
On Wednesday 25th March we will lay the donations out as a penny trail. The class with the longest trail will win a mufti day on Wednesday 15th April.
Please give generously. Every penny counts!

Science Week 2026

As part of Science Week, pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 took part in engaging science workshops based on this year’s theme, “Curiosity: What’s Your Question?”. The sessions encouraged pupils to think like scientists by asking questions, exploring ideas, and developing their curiosity about the world around them.

Each year group participated in a workshop linked to the science topics they have been learning about in class, giving them the opportunity to deepen their understanding and learn more about key scientific concepts.

The workshops sparked lots of curiosity and thoughtful questions from pupils, and it was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for learning more about science.
