Young Voices 2026
Choir members from Year 4, 5 and 6 joined 4875 other children from schools across London to take part in the 30th Anniversary Young Voices concert at the OVO Arena Wembley. We sang a variety of songs including ‘You’ll be in my Heart’ from Disney’s Tarzan, ‘Power in Me’ by Rebecca Lawrence, a medley of disco songs and songs from the musical ‘Wicked’ alongside a live band and principal conductor.

We had the opportunity to sing alongside artists like Ruti, who won the Voice in 2018, and Aneesa Folds a vocalist, actress and improviser best known for her work on Broadway. We were also very excited to meet Andy and his dance troop ‘Urban Strides’ and dance alongside them. It was a wonderful day full of music and a fantastic experience!

Year 2 History Workshop
Year 3 visit to Isleworth Deen Centre
On Thursday, Doncaster and Ipswich classes visited Isleworth Deen Centre. As part of the visit, the children experienced a talk from the head Imam where they were shown how Muslims pray and what time they engage in prayer each day.

We also received a fantastic tour where we were shown around the centre. The pupils were very engaged and respectful and were able to ask and answer questions to develop their understanding of Islam.
Year 4 Thames Explorers
On Monday, our Year 4 pupils enjoyed an exciting visit to the Thames Explorer Trust in Chiswick, where they became riverside explorers for the day.

Working on the foreshore, the children investigated the River Thames ecosystem by searching puddles and shallow water for wildlife, discovering Asiatic clams, leeches, mussels and even freshwater squid.

They also carried out scientific testing by checking the pH of the Thames to help assess the river’s health. It was a hands-on, engaging geography and science experience that brought their learning to life and deepened their understanding of rivers.
