This page has been published to support learning at home for those children who are at home as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

On this page you can find links to the daily 9am PE lesson from Joe Wicks, ideas to support mental health, Religious Education, a link to the Phonics Play website on which you can register for a free account and information on reading for children who do not need to decode.  We will add to these resources so keep checking back and scrolling through them.

Further down this page you will find links to each year group's click on these to access 'Home Leaning packs' for the week beginning 23rd March.  A new set of learning packs will be uploaded every week (unless teachers are unable to do so through illness).

For the next two weeks children should also continue to use the Geography Knowledge Planners on the individual year group pages accessed from the Visit the Classes dropdown to support home learning in geography (for the rest of this term) and history for the first half of the summer term.

Half of the learning for each history or geography topic (we don’t teach them at the same time) is contained in the knowledge planners.  Children should learn all of the information on the Knowledge planners using the method explained herehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9u3KxGCio8.  They can also carry out research on the internet and create fact files, posters and information booklets using the facts they have learnt.  At the moment the work is geography based but after the Easter holiday it will change to history focussed work.
